Overnight outbound: research, score, draft, review
A two-person sales team let a Sales Outbound Agent research accounts and draft first touches each night, then spent mornings reviewing instead of searching.

Outbound sales is mostly research and first drafts, and both are tedious. A B2B software company with two salespeople gave the night to a Sales Outbound Agent and the meetings to a Meeting Prep Agent.
Nightly research
The Sales Outbound Agent reads the target list from HubSpot, researches each company and contact, scores fit against the ideal customer profile and writes notes back to the CRM record. It runs as long as the list needs, because usage on the node is not metered.
First touches, in the rep's voice
For each scored contact it drafts an email and a LinkedIn note, using the rep's own past messages as the tone guide. The drafts wait in the console as a review list. Reps approve, edit or skip over coffee.
Meeting Prep for the ones that bite
When a meeting lands on the calendar, the Meeting Prep Agent builds a one-page pack: who is in the room, the last touch, open threads, a suggested agenda. It lands as a chat message an hour before the call.
Guardrails
Outbound volume is capped per day in the Agent's instructions, every send is human, and the CRM writes are limited to notes and scores. The Agent's history shows each HubSpot and LinkedIn action with a tick or a cross.
Takeaways
- Research and drafting run overnight on the customer's node.
- Reps review a list instead of starting from zero.
- CRM writes are scoped and logged.
